International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists "Socio-economic modernization in Russia and CIS: 20 years of post-Soviet space" will take place at the Institute of Economics and Industrial Engineering SB RAS in Novosibirsk (Akademgorodok) 14-16 November 2011. The main purpose of the Conference for young scientists is to share their expertise and experiences in the following areas:

• General economic theory.
• Management of companies and industries.
• Socio-economic analysis of modern society.
• The regional economy and international cooperation.
• Innovation and technological progress.
• Financial management, financial markets and banking.

Undergraduates, young researchers, graduate students, doctoral students (under 35 years old) are invited to present their ideas and research results.
To participate in the Conference please send an application form with your contact details and theme of the report until 19 June 2011, and an article until 11 September 2011 at smu.conf@yandex.ru.
